When does Budapest Card’s validity start?
Budapest Card validity begins from the date and hour that you fill in on the card. Please also remember to sign the card. Budapest Card validity does not start automatically from the day of purchasing or delivery.
Why is it worth registering the purchased Budapest Card?

Can I use Budapest Card with the benefit of student discount?
Budapest Card cannot be combined with other discounts.
Is there a group card?
There is no group card. However, if you are more than 15 person, please contact us and that we will provide you a special package of services for groups.

Yes, most of the Hop on Hop off sightseeing companies offer a 20% discount for Budapest Card holders.
Can I visit the Lukács Thermal Bath multiple times with one Budapest Card?
No, the Budapest Card offers a one-time free entry into the Lukács Thermal Bath.
Which means of public transport are not included free of charge?
The suburban railway (HÉV) beyond the Budapest boundaries, the 100E bus and Hop On Hopp Of buses.
Can I use the bus 100 E and the Funicular with Budapest Card?
Budapest Card is not valid for the bus 100E. 72 Plus Budapest Card offers free use of Buda Castle Funicular (Budavári Sikló).
Can I use the Zugliget Chairlift with Budapest Card?
Yes, you can use in both directions the Zugliget Chairlift (Libegő) on János Hill with Budapest Card. Chairlift tickets are available at the valley or hill station Buffet of the Zugliget Chairlift.
How to use Budapest Card on metro?
Budapest Card also allows you to travel by all Budapest metro lines for free. Go ahead! But in case of control show your valid Budapest Card to the public transport inspector.
Is a pre-registration necessary for any of the services?

Where can I pick up my online bought Budapest Card?
We offer three options to pick up your Card in Budapest:
a) at CITY CENTER OFFICE (every day from 8 am to 6 pm)(Hotel Gozsdu Court – Budapest, 1075, Király street 13.)
b) at the AIRPORT (opening time: 24 hours every day) (Hotel Ibis Styles Budapest Airport reception – approx. 3 minutes – 300 meter – walk from Terminal A and B)
c) at the HOTEL (hotel, hostel, private apartment, Airbnb, dental clinic etc) (we will contact with your host and we will delivery the card for free to your accommodation / dental clinic. Your card will be waiting for you at the reception or in your room)

Can I order the Budapest Card delivery outside of Budapest?
No, Budapest Card is delivered only within the territory of Budapest.
If I arrive at the bus station or railway station, how can I get my online bought Budapest Card?
In these cases we recommend you to collect your Budapest Tourist Card at our office located in the city center (opening hours: from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm) or in your Budapest accommodation (hotel, hostel or private apartment etc.). In case of accommodation pick up your Budapest Card will be delivered for free and will wait for you at the reception till you arrive. Can I buy a Budapest Card at the airport?
Yes, however, we recommend you to buy Budapest Card online and then you will have to only pick up your card at the airport. You don’t lose time and you can enjoy every moment of your Budapest city break. Better to organize all the most important things before you arrive to Budapest.
Can unused Budapest Cards be redeemed?
The Card can not be redeemed, even if it has not been used.
